Cape of Good Hope with Cape Convoy Tours

While in Cape Town I knew I wanted to visit Cape of Good Hope and I was lucky enough to stumble upon a review of Cape Convoy Tours.  This is definitely one of the best things I did in Cape Town.  Such a fun relaxed day out where I met new friends (ended up having dinner with them that night) and I laughed my a$$ off all day listening to Rob tell us stories.
The areas we covered on our Cape Convoy tour were – Clifton, Bantry Bay, Camp’s Bay, Hout Bay , Fishhoek, Boulders Beach National Park – visit the African Jackass Penguins, Visit to Simon’s Town and the Historic Mile, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope – The most South-Westerly point of the African continent.

While in Cape Town you must check out the Table Mountain and do some hiking there. You can also see about my time in Stellenbosch – Cape Wine in South Africa or this detailed 5 day itinerary for Cape Town itinerary for Cape Town.

Rob has really great reviews on Trip Advisor and I have to say I agree with everything on there. Its definitely not a quiet day out it is full of chatting and laughter and he really includes everyone during the entire day.

He’s really knowledgeable and even gives recommendations on where to eat. He dropped us off at the V&A waterfront at the end and the three of us had dinner together. Its a long day out and many people choose to go back to their hotels but its nice to have an option to be dropped off by the V&A and it was close to my hotel as well.
